Tym De Santo first garnered attention as a Professional Ski Racer/Adventure Skier and Ski Tip Host on regional television then went on to acquire national attention when he landed on HGTV's "Design Star" in the shows opening season. De Santo became known to scores of HGTV viewers simply as "Tym", the renaissance guy as he was able to execute a variety of tasks including flooring, tiling, painting and general construction as well as creating highly inventive designs. After Design Star Tym hosted the "Style File Show" for Las Vegas' World Market Center for 2 1/2 years showcasing the latest home furnishings. He went on to work as a celebrity designer designing furniture along with interior/exterior design and appeared in an episode of WeTV's "Tamar & Vince" where he pitched his designs to the celebrity couple for their sparsely decorated Hidden Hills mansion. Tym spends most of his time in Nashville, TN where he is currently designing and developing new residential build projects in the East Nashville neighborhood, (dubbed by Rolling Stone as the "Greenwich Village of our day"). When he's not designing and hosting, De Santo writes and releases music under the moniker "Black Denim" who's unofficial "Stranger Things Season 2" theme song & video, "Here's To Eleven" dropped in October 2017.
