BAFTA LA Newcomer 2018-2022. Denise Hoey is a British actor and voiceover artist with a Green Card, based in Burbank, CA. Denise grew up in Hampshire, England and holds a BA Honors Degree in Acting from Middlesex University. During her final year at University she booked her first theatre job playing Ophelia in a national tour of Hamlet and toured the UK and Ireland for six months. Lead roles followed in national theatre productions: Little Voice in Jim Cartwright's The Rise & Fall of Little Voice, Arrietty in The Borrowers, Yvonne in Dundee Rep's original stage production of Sunshine on Leith based on the music of The Proclaimers, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz for the Royal Lyceum Theatre. Denise played Isabella in The Mark of Zorro which toured the US and played on Broadway. On screen roles include: _Emmerdale (1972)_, _Mr Selfridge (2013)_, _Eastenders (1985)_ and feature film _AUX (2017)_ starring 'John Rhys-Davies'. Denise Hoey is also an established voiceover actor for commercials, animations, video games, audio plays, and live events.
