David Allen

David Allen runs Passion Planet producing specialist factual and nature productions for landmark television and theatrical release documentaries. He has four documentary Emmy's to his name and five Wildscreen Panda awards. David' first film Flying Devils for National Geographic won an Emmy for Cinematography, his genre-busting series "Bug World" earned another Emmy for directing. More recently, "My life as a Turkey" described by the Times as "probably the best documentary of the Year" won him his fourth Emmy, an RTS award, a Grierson Nomination and Wildscreen's best of festival Golden Panda. As Series Producer David mastermind the Discovery series "Bug World"; ITV's "Deep Jungle", and PBS / National Geographic "Earth's New Wild". More recently he produced "Hadwin's Judement" for Film 4 and "The Serengeti Rules" a feature documentary for cinema on how nature works, and why it matters.
