Cleveland Heights High School 2020 Hall of Fame honoree Lisa Catara (Tarantino) took an unconventional route to Hollywood and her entertainment career. The Cleveland native graduated from the Eastman School of Music as a classical voice major, then headed to New York City and Broadway musicals. The events of 9/11 mandated a change and Lisa crossed country to Hollywood to pursue acting in television and film. Catara's television acting credits include appearances on Young Rock (NBC), BMF (STARZ), General Hospital (ABC), Scorpion (CBS), Rosewood (FOX), LA's Finest (Charter), Escape the Night 3 (YouTube), Walk The Prank (Disney), State Of Affairs (NBC), The Bridge (FX Network), Matador (El Rey Network) and Till Death (FOX), among others. Film credits include The Wrong Mommy (Lifetime), Truth Or Dare (Blumhouse), a sultry appearance alongside actor Raymond Barry in Charlie Valentine, opposite Linda Hamilton in Hard Times, Criminal Activities (with Michael Pitt, Rob Brown) as well as the independent film Paying Mr.McGetty (with friend and martial artist Don "the Dragon" Wilson). In addition to TV/ film, Lisa Catara has appeared in numerous commercials (acting, stunts and driving), video games (M-ocap, P-cap, voice, acting and stunts), and traveled extensively speaking on behalf of many companies/ products as a brand ambassador and product/ service specialist. As a stunt women, Catara has worked on Wakanda Forever, Shazam 2, Harold And The Purple Crayon, and countless more series and films as a skilled performer and stunt double. She has doubled actresses Daniella Alonso, Julie Carmen, Jeanine Mason, Karla Souza, Gina Rodriguez, Ruth Negga, Jennifer Lopez, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Kristian Alfonzo, and Nadine Velasquez... and specializes in stunts which require trained acting. Lisa Catara continues to work as an actress, stunt woman and commercial talent.
