Elis Pacheco

Elis, the son of Johnny Pacheco, the founding father of modern day Salsa and a 13 time Grammy award nominee, has always had some big shoes to fill. However, despite the comparisons and expectations, Elis never wavered in his desire to pursue his own dreams and set his own goals. In 1985 he fulfilled a dream and became a club DJ in Miami. In 1987 he began collaborating in the studio, writing songs and producing for local talent. Like his father, Elis was blessed with the ability to play various instruments, and scored numerous successes producing for the likes of Stevie B, Brenda K Starr, George Lamond, Red Man & Method Man, Brand Nubian and others. In 1999 Elis started a management company, Pay Up Management, with long time family friend Mickey Bentson. Pay Up Management achieved great success developing the careers of Fat Joe, Ice T, Big Pun and others. Elis carved a successful niche in branding, endorsements, and commercials for clients, with his marketing and management agency Digital Launch. Having created and launched several campaigns around Beyonce, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Carmen Electra, and many more, Digital Launch has become a Top 40 Digital Agency in the US.
