Has been featured on the front page of Reddit. And his work is referenced extensively in the popular college textbook, Voice And Vision: A Creative Approach To Narrative Filmmaking 3rd Edition. Beyond directing, Engel has more than a decade of on-set experience working as a key grip on hundreds of films, TV shows, music videos, and commercials. His credits include HBO's The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst (2015), Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011), and Obvious Child (2014).
