Manny Jimenez Jr. began performing in talent shows at the age of seven. In 2005, Manny Jr. and his father put together a one-man show for his Elementary School Talent Show entitled "Movie Montage" in which Manny Jr. played a handful of famous movie characters, all in about three minutes. This led to Manny Jr. being cast as the Lead in several school plays. First as the Grinch in "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" and later as Bagheera in "The Jungle Book". In 2010 at age 12, Manny Jr. had the honor of playing the trumpet at Carnegie Hall with the North Park Middle School Band. Although he loved performing on stage with the band, Manny Jr. kept developing his acting skills while working on many short films for NYFA, AFI, UCLA, and USC. That same year during an audition, a casting director recommended Manny Jr. to an agent and he was signed to Nicole Jolley and Milton Perea at Amsel, Eisenstadt, Frazier & Hinojosa Talent Agency (AEFH). In 2011, Manny Jr. auditioned and was accepted into the theater department at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA). He started auditioning for Commercials, Network Television Shows and Feature Films. His first major role was on NBC's "Prime Suspect", followed by roles from CBS shows such as "C.S.I: Miami" and the Feature Film "End of Watch". In his spare time Manny Jr. is continuing to study acting and loves to write poetry and music. He also volunteers with the Lennox Middle School students through non-profit organizations such as SoCal Crossroads and Tribeca Teaches L.A. to help develop young actors like himself. In 2013 Manny Jr. worked on a Pilot for Comedy Central called "Schlub Life", the Short Film "Trespass", a Web Series entitled "Blue", and the short film "Off Track" for USC. Now with over twenty short films under his belt, ten of which feature him in a leading role, Manny Jr. continues to build his Television and Film credits. Manny Jr. looks forward to working on an Independent Film Project with a meaningful story in the hopes of inspiring other talented youth to follow their dreams.
