I was born in Vancouver in 1948 and raised in rural Richmond. I made my first short film in 1999 and sold it for TV broadcast. My films have screened at over 30 film festivals and I have won 8 awards so far. My work includes Mona's Me Too Story, I Matter to the World, A Sweater Girl Covid Comedy, Sweater Girls Then and Now, A Sweater Girl Comedy Cold Read, Roger Dodger 1999, Cow Talk Part 1, Stunt Baby, Romeo and Juliet with Herpes, The Antiques Toadshow, Cam Girl, My Two Lives II, and Bikini Babes Countdown. I am an inventor with patents and about 25 inventions. My inventions include about 12 unique film making rigs. In 1967 rode a 10 speed bike from Vancouver to Halifax. I have owned two small planes and flew them from Vancouver to The Bahamas, Mexico, Ontario, the Yukon and Mexico. I flew float planes for a living for 20 years. I knew 8 pilots who crashed and were killed. I believe I was kept alive for a special purpose. I was a hypnotherapist and produced a series of 15 meditation tapes and wrote a book on hypnotherapy and healing our past. I lived on Quadra Island without electricity for a year and watched almost no TV for about 10 years. I taught himself how to operate a bulldozer and chainsaw, and I built an airstrip on my property there. I am a self taught filmmaker and I describe my film making methods as disruptive. I am the survivor of an abusive childhood, and I have been clean and sober since 1984. In 2002 I changed my last name to Cosmic, after years of criticism and misunderstanding from my siblings. I have made some inspiring movies, and I plan to make more. I have made some farcical movies including bikini movies, because I have to eat and I have bills to pay. I believe that the more politically correct you are, the less creative you will be.
