A writer, poet and a journalist with over two decades of experience in the media and entertainment industry, Neeru Sharma is currently thriving over bringing the flawed, complicated yet strong characters to life. Neeru Sharma is currently busy writing the English Film - A big fat Indian wedding. She is also Working as an Assistant Director on Punjabi Film Dhol Patase. A diploma holder of the Screenwriting Program, she has trained herself under the genius's like Boman Irani, Anjum Rajabali and Mayur Puri, and have been writing since 2015. She loves to scour books that narrate intriguing stories of historical and political biographies and channel the writer in her to create stories that can move the world.She has worked with news channels like AajTak, E24, News24 and Sahara India as a journalist before venturing into a career of a Screen Writer. A proud mother of a 20-something daughter she believes she has cracked the secret of parenting- it lies in the ability to binge-watch the same shows as her daughter.
