Educated as an art director with emphasis in marketing James worked heavily in the realm of entertainment marketing and advertising for 15 years. He founded Brash Studios in 2005 and began his filmmaking career as director of photography and executive producer for the feature film Quit! He went on to produce and direct several short films and music videos before writing and directing 10 episodes of "Apocalyptic Playground," festival premiered feature film "Gameface," and short "String of Pearls" and is presently getting things lined up to produce and direct his upcoming feature film "Eleven". James also directed photography for KABC's Frosty, Heidi and Frank's Save Radio Commercial spot which played on KTLA and the Dodger's Jumbotron and "Squatters" a new web series. Most recently James directed photography and co-produced and edited an Angelo Bell / Brash Studios action feature film "Resurrection of Serious Rogers."
