Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Stacie Ratliff spent her childhood growing up in Palo Alto, California, Springfield, Virginia and Memphis, Tennessee. Her parents Roosevelt Ratliff, Jr and Shirley Newby-Carpenter both worked in the field of education as school teachers. She has one older brother (Roosevelt Ratliff III). Although Stacie grew up watching and enjoying television shows and films, the acting bug did not bite her until much later in life when she reached adulthood. A graduate of Princeton University, she took her first acting classes at the Van Mar Academy of Motion Picure TV and Acting in Hollywood, CA. After appearing as an atmosphere actress, dancer and stand-in in several commercials, music videos, television sitcoms, and a few feature films alongside notable celebrities/musicians such as: Halle Berry, Drew Carey, Pamela Anderson-Lee, Brooke Shields, Faith Evans, DMX, and Ja' Rule, she decided to pursue her passion for the Voice Over industry. After training at Kalmenson & Kalmenson in Burbank (2009) she is now auditioning, working on her demo reel, and seeking agency representation. In addition to Voice Overs Stacie has made numerous television appearances as a game show contestant. She loves mindless trivia and her biggest win to-date was a 5 figure cash prize on "Pyramid" hosted by Donny Osmond. Stacie has a dilute calico cat named Precious. In her spare time she volunteers with the L.A. Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic LA RFB&D where she records audio textbooks for students.
