Kylie Erica Mar is now in her eighth season as segment reporter for Made in Hollywood (2005), and host of Made in Hollywood: Teen Edition (2006). As a reporter for "Made In Hollywood", Mar has interviewed many of Hollywood's biggest stars, including Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio, Harrison Ford, Denzel Washington, Jerry Bruckheimer, James Cameron, Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey, Nicolas Cage, Sandra Bullock, Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon, Anne Hathaway, Mila Kunis, Natalie Portman, Hilary Swank, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Bradley Cooper and more! Mar has traveled around the world to cover movie junkets and premieres for films such as "Rio" in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil; Letters to Juliet (2010) in Verona, Italy; and Turbo (2013) in Barcelona, Spain. She has also traveled the country reporting on many set visits to feature films and sitcoms. She frequently travels to London and New York City to cover all of the latest, biggest films. Mar is an official member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association. The B.F.C.A. is the largest film critics organization in the United States and Canada, representing over 250 television, radio and online critics. Founded in 1995, it presents its Critics' Choice Movie Awards each year to honor the finest achievements in filmmaking. A portion of the proceeds from the awards presentation ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel is donated to the Starlight Children's Fund. In 2013 Mar was honored as the "Mistress of Ceremonies" as she hosted the Center for the Pacific Asian Family's 35th Anniversary Gala, a charity event to raise money and recognize the organization's supporters. C.P.A.F. was founded to help address domestic violence and sexual assault in the Asian and Pacific Islander communities. Their mission is to build healthy and safe communities by addressing the root causes and the consequences of family violence and violence against women. Also in 2013, Mar served as an emcee as she led the 710 Freeway initiative, "Close the Gap", in the city of Alhambra, CA. Mar started her career in show business when she was just four years old. As a professional child actress she booked national commercials, voice-over, print work, as well as acting roles, co-starring in episodes of hit television series such as ER (1994), The Wayans Bros. (1995), 7th Heaven (1996) and The Parent 'Hood (1995) for which she received a Young Artist Award nomination. Born and raised in Southern California, Mar attended prestigious Troy High School, a math and science technology magnet school. After high school she went on to receive a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from California State University, Long Beach. Now in its ninth season, "Made in Hollywood" is a nationally syndicated weekly TV series in 107 million homes.
