Kevin is a native of southern California, having been raised in the Inglewood/Los Angeles area. He is the first born child of his mother and father who, introduced him to the Lord and raised him in church. In fact, it was as a Pastor's kid, or more affectionately known as a (PK), he first grew an appetite for a microphone and was introduced to the stage, leading songs in the choir and starring in church plays. He is married to his lovely wife and they together have five children. Formally educated in the Los Angeles School District, he graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in Reseda, California. Kevin received his undergraduate Bachelors of Arts degree in psychology from Chapman University in Orange, California, where he was a scholarship student athlete, having played and excelled in basketball. He earned his Master of Divinity degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling from the Morehouse School of Religion on the campus of the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. As an actor, in addition to a number of drama classes as a college undergraduate, Kevin further sharpened his acting gift with intense training. He has studied On Camera Acting, Cold Reading, Improv, Comedy Commercial Acting and Television/Film with people the like of Duane Shepherd, Mike Pointer ad the most notable of his acting coaches being Tasha Smith. Kevin is multi-talented and super gifted and is not only and accomplished actor, but is also a published author of the book called, "Driving Out The kINGS". Additionally, he is a singer/songwriter, composer and gospel recording artist, having released his first CD project, "Get After It". To his on stage acting credit are a number of notable roles. He had a lead role in the play "Broken Chains", written and directed by Debra McNair. As well, he recently starred in the hit play, "To Death Do Us Part", which was written and directed by Kathy Long-Hill. He has appeared in a television role as himself on Church Rescue on the National Geographic Channel. He also appeared as a principle actor on the Weather Channel's, Tornado Alley. He had a Principle role on Justice With Judge Karen. He appeared as a bass player in OMI the Jamaican Artist's video entitled, Cheerleader. Kevin has two movie roles and two commercial roles to his credit. The latest was a short film entitled, The Search For Starship One, produced by Stephen Boyer. The feature film Asian Stories was his debut film, Asian Stories Book III, produced by Ronald Oda. He has the lead role in a national TransUnion commercial and a regional Repossess Auto Sales commercial wherein he is the lead actor.
