Tiwana Floyd is a Los Angeles-based actress, improviser and writer. A graduate of Second City Hollywood's Improvisation and Directing Programs, in 2019, she performed and wrote in the NBC sponsored Bob Curry Fellowship Showcase. Tiwana continues to write, perform, and direct comedic shorts with her improv team, Diversity Higher Comedy. A Bronx, New York native and an original "Around The Way Girl," Tiwana's entertainment career began with Hip-Hop. A B-girl, dancing in choreographed music videos and tours for Hip-Hop legends LL Cool J, Rob Base, DMX, and on MTV's The Grind, during the height of the New Jack Swing era. She later set out to become a forensic psychologist with plans to attend CUNY's John Jay College of Criminal Justice. After viewing Harry Connick Jr's terrifying portrayal of a serial killer in the Ann Biderman film Copycat, she immediately changed her sights towards acting. Now, she studies the behavior of her on-screen and stage characters. When Tiwana's not acting, she devotes much of her time as a private consultant teaching the Business of Acting at Graham Shiels Studio. She's also served on the Peer Group Executive Committee at the Television Academy and sings first soprano in the world-renowned Agape International Choir.
