Titus Thorpe

Titus Clay Thorpe was born October 25, 1966 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. He was the second eldest of five brothers to parents of Helen Ruth Thorpe and Johnnie William Thorpe both of Oxford, North Carolina. Titus mother Helen worked in a factory for many years as a machinist. His father Johnnie worked in a factory as well, working in the foundry. Titus parents migrated north, before any of them were born. Upon graduating high school, Titus Thorpe being a basketball standout, landed a scholarship at Columbia Greene Junior College in upstate Hudson, New York. There Titus became an All Conference Basketball Player and went on to receive his A.A.S degree. Associates in Applied Science general studies. Titus eventually ventured down south to enroll in the prestigious Virginia Union University. There Titus became a distinguished member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Mr. Thorpe also played basketball at Virginia Union University and majored in Journalism. Titus had his first child early in his college stint. Knowing the grave challenges that proceeded him, Titus knew he had to be something special in life. This was when he decided to become an actor and took his talents back up north once again. We all know other than L.A, New York is the mecca of the Actors Entertainment Industry as well. Things were pretty convenient for Titus at this time, since his family lived fairly close to New York. Titus was able to commute back and forth from Pennsylvania to New York in between acting gigs. Titus took a crash acting course at Image International Modeling and Acting Center in Allentown, Pa. Titus joined a company called Extra Mile in New York. Extra Mile specialized in landed roles for background actors, which were also considered Extras. There, Titus participated in shows like Law & Order frequently, taking on roles such as lawyers, Doctors, detectives, policemen and many other law enforcement roles. Titus started to gain more and more experience and eventually was convinced Hollywood would be an even better opportunity. So he packed his bags and followed some friends, who were already in California. It was traumatizing for Titus living in L.A, trying to fit in living in affordable areas which were gang neighborhoods most of the time. After finally getting settled in, Titus started making new friends and working odd jobs through temp services to make ends meet. Titus also started participating in events like fashion modeling. Through networking at these events, Titus would eventually go on to meet Marie Lemelle, who would ultimately become his manager and publicist. Marie wears many hats, she is a casting director, a publicist, a manager, and c e o and founder of Platinum Star Media Group. Marie Lemelle so happens to represent a director by the name of Marc Cayce, who eventually gave me my first four principal roles in the industry. These movies consists "A day of trouble" "Flint Tale" "Sasha Lanes" "Black Skin". After 12 years of the struggle in which every actor must go through, I'm finally here, and making a name for myself.
