Williams about his romance novel, being one of the first on-air personalities to drive a hydrogen fuel cell car, shooting in a helicopter, entering a fire dressed in a firefighter's suit, and getting covered in spinach while hosting a cooking special. Garcia is also proud of those projects that contributed to society; some include a PBS sustainable architecture documentary, an alternate fuel documentary, and the Junior League's Emmy-nominated anti-domestic violence campaign Dangerous Games. In addition, Garcia lent her talents to Health Center, and co-hosted Autowire news magazine. Stop Foreclosure still receives praise, a television program she hosted/produced about the realities of home foreclosure. When taking time away, Lani designs custom rock n' roll pieces for the high-end jewelry line she created, Royal Court Silver. She is a precision driver, trained at the Bondourant school in Phoenix, and reads books by motivational speakers like Dr. Wayne Dyer every chance she gets - oh - and enjoys her belly dancing classes! Garcia graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Communications and Film.
