Monique Soltani

Monique Soltani is an award-winning journalist with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and American Studies and a lifetime of experiences sharing stories on and off camera. Monique honed her reporting skills reporting for network affiliates across the country some of which include: KPIX-TV/CBS 5, KSEE-TV/NBC 24, and KPVI-TV/NBC 6. She has a certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, is an experienced wine judge, and has interviewed at least two hundred winemakers, countless top chefs, and A-list celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence, Nicole Kidman and Kate Hudson. Monique is an experienced emcee and live parade host. Monique is also a trained SAG/AFTRA actor and studied at The Groundlings, Warner Loughlin Studios and The Atlantic Theater Company. Monique's worked on various films, television shows, plays and commercials. In 2012, Monique founded Thinque Media and Wine Oh TV in its current form was born. In the early 2000's, Monique was a young woman working in a man's world in Manhattan. Monique quickly came to realize if she could talk about wine, she could have a seat at the table. Wine was her through line to accessing an entirely new world. So she dug in and drank up all the wine knowledge she could find. It was there where her idea for Wine Oh! was born (if only in Monique's mind at the time). She has come a long way and held many seats at the head of the table since then. In 2008, Monique first brought Wine Oh! to life once a week on KSEE 24 airing in over 1.5 million homes across California's Central Valley. From 2013 - 2018, Monique formed and executed distribution deals for Wine Oh TV with Comcast/NBCUniversal, Xumo, TV4, streaming on Hulu, Roku, Amazon Prime Video + International distribution. In that same period she covered Weather + Wine on The Weather Channel and created two humans at the same time (literally).
