Frances Marrington has worked in independent theatre and film around Australia, and also works as a voice-over artist. She played the lead in the 200t horror film, Watch Me, and a supporting character in Purge (2010), which is distributed by Tron Media. Her most recent film role was in Bloody Hell (2020). Theatre highlights include: Selkie and Luna - Minola Theatre / Dead Puppets Society (2020); Shakespeare's Shorts - Qld Shakespeare Ensemble (2019); The Blood Votes - Qld Shakespeare Ensemble (2018); Minefields and Miniskirts - Brisbane Arts Theatre (2016); The Odyssey - Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre (2010); Half Hour Hamlet - the Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble (2009); Where the Wild Things Are - the Multicultural Festival (2009); The Ship That Never Was - Round Earth Theatre (2006/07), Picasso's Women - The Butterfly Club (2006); Sad Bird Boy and Other Dreams of the City - International Puppet Carnival (2006); Eight Days - theatre in decay (2006). Frances trained at QUT in Brisbane, and in the BDA at VCA in Melbourne. She has been a company member of Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre, the Qld Shakespeare Ensemble, and Red Thread Stories Playback Theatre. She is a proud member of Actors' Equity, MEAA.
