Miro has a very diverse and accomplished background in the entertainment arena, encompassing both the film industry, as well as professional sports. As a young filmmaker and soccer player in Australia, Miro divided his time and passion between film and soccer. After finishing his professional soccer career as a goalkeeper prematurely, Miro saw an avenue to stay immersed in the game as an agent/manager. In 1997, Miro became the youngest soccer Players Agent in the world to be accredited by the world's soccer governing body, F.I.F.A. in Switzerland. In the decade since, Miro has represented some of the biggest names in international soccer, and has brokered international player transfer deals worth tens of millions of dollars. At the peak of his activity in Europe several years ago, Miro had over 30 professional players under his representation from all over the world. Many of Miro's past clients were featured recently in the 2006 World Cup in Germany. As a producer, Miro has produced, written and directed numerous film projects in Australia in recent years, aimed primarily at the film festival circuit, through his Australian film production company, Vrana Pictures. During his period as a sports agent, Miro consistently wrote and developed a number of film scripts in a variety of genres. Miro relocated to Los Angeles in 2005 to center his efforts on film, and set up the film production company Cinema League, LLC. Miro has also undertaken various studies in the U.S. in recent years, working on further developing his writing ability with authors Al Watt, Devora Cutler-Rubenstein, as well as undertaking directing studies at U.C.L.A. Miro has received numerous screenwriting awards over the years, and most recently was engaged to write the screenplay adaptation to the book 'Sergeant Presley', which tells the story of Elvis' Presley's 'missing years' whilst serving in the U.S. Army in Germany .
