Mauricio Macri has been President of Argentina since 2015. He was born in Tandil, Buenos Aires Province and worked in business before becoming the president of Boca Juniors, one of Argentina's largest football clubs. He served as Mayor of Buenos Aires for two terms before forming the Cambiemos political party and successfully running for the Presidency. He is still a football fan and is a fervent supporter of the Argentine national team.
