Ten years before Czechoslovakia separated, Vlastina was born to Czechoslovakian parents: a Slovak mother and Czech father. She attended elementary and a high school in the Slovak town of Myjava. She studied piano for fifteen years and also took in drawings and singing lessons. She also studied writing and reciting poems. Her first feature was Casino Royale by Martin Campbell, where she got a part in the casino. Vlastina is also performing in theater and writing books.
