Joe Griffenberg

Joe Griffenberg is an Actor, Writer, Producer, and Director know for his film work in Albuquerque, NM since 1986. Joe attained a BAFA from the University of NM in 1988 with an emphasis in Television Production. While at UNM he produced 4 short films. After college he has worked as a furniture salesman. Joe returned to film in 2006 as Background and has worked as a Stand In, Photo Double, Body Double, and Feature Background. In December 2012, Joe won the Walter White Look Alike Contest on Steven Michael Quezada's late night television show, 'The After After Party'. He was hired and worked for the last Season of Breaking Bad as Bryan Cranston's Photo Double. Joe was featured at many live events and even 3 web series portraying Heisenberg from Breaking Bad. After eight years working background, Joe began landing speaking roles in Albuquerque in local short films and web series. He has enhanced his film and acting education over the past 10 years. Joe has pursued his film interests as an actor but has accumulated several writing, directing and producing credits along the way. He has also worked crew in set design, props, sound, lighting and camera. Joe has also worked in several local commercials and has been the focus of two photo shoots. By 2019, Joe had been involved in 4 web series, 26 short films, 1 feature film, 6 commercials, and dozens of live performances. This doesn't include his numerous jobs as background. His main desire is to continue and advance in Film and Television and to be a successful part of the growing New Mexico Film Industry.
