Thomas was born and raised in Akron, Ohio by loving parents joined by an older brother and younger sister. Tom loves sports and all kinds of music. At the age of 12 years he knew what he wanted to become; a disc-jockey. By the age of 16, Tom was working on the air at his hometown Top-40 radio station. At 18 years of age he was hired by Metromedia Inc. at WDHF/WMET Chicago Illinois, as the 'Afternoon Drive' Host, Using the 'air-name' of Tom Jeffries, he would continue a radio career that would include stints in many major markets across the country. He would enjoy his time on the air for more than 30 years of broadcasting in cities which included: Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Seattle, Boston, and Charlotte. Tom retired from radio, and now enjoys his first love of acting, working as a Day-player in many productions of Film and Television throughout the Southeast United States.
