Javier Marco is a Spanish Film Director. His first feature film, Josefina, participated in the New Directors competitive section of San Sebastian Film Festival and received 3 nominations for the Goya Awards 2022. His filmography includes the short films Classmate, El vestido, Uno, Muero por volver and A la cara, which won the Goya Award for best fiction short film in 2021. He has been selected at Berlinale Talents in 2020 and at the Spanish Film Academy Residence 2021-2022 to develop his second feature film A la cara, based on his short film with the same name.
