Marguerite Stimpson was born in Port Huron, Michigan. She received her M.F.A. in acting at Harvard University's Institute for Advanced Theater Training at American Repertory Theatre, which included studying at the Moscow Art Theatre in Russia. Marguerite made her Broadway debut in 2006 in "Butley", starring Nathan Lane, and also appeared in the 2014 Broadway production of "The Elephant Man", starring Bradley Cooper, which subsequently moved to the West End. She is married to the actor Gerardo Rodriguez.
