Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Daryl relocated to New York City to attend The American Musical and Dramatic Academy at the age of 17, focusing on a career in musical theatre. After graduating, her passion for film and television then took her to Los Angeles for many years, where she gained valuable on-set experience as an actor, and then on the production side, working for Winkler Films, among others. Daryl has since returned to Canada, transitioning into the commercial casting world. In 2019, she joined the Play Toronto office and most recently has been focused on building the Toronto voice department, with clients working on jobs like Paw Patrol, PJ Masks, Pinkalicious + Peterrific, McDonald's, Amex as well as many other animated and commercial campaigns. In addition to her work in the industry, Daryl is extremely passionate about her charitable work with The Familial Dysautonomia Center in New York and is in the preliminary stages of producing/directing a documentary about Familial Dysautonomia.
