Americana roots / R&B singer / songwriter and piano player extraordinaire Kelley Hunt's blistering live performances during the past several years have won over legions of blues and roots music fans, making her a crowd favorite at more than 100 blues and music festivals across North America. She recently made her feature film debut as an actress in Bunker Hill, the upcoming film from director Kevin Willmott (CSA: Confederate States of America), which stars James McDaniel (NYPD Blue) and Saeed Jaffrey (Gandhi). Kelley will also contribute music to the film. Kelley is heard regularly on The Blues Foundation's internationally distributed radio show Beale Street Caravan and Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion, along with appearances on House of Blues Radio Hour and numerous other nationally syndicated shows, including an appearance on the PBS-TV music series "Backstage Pass." In 1998, her title If I Don't Dance from her debut CD Kelley Hunt was released in the feature film Dance With Me. Her latest CD, New Shade of Blue, debuted at #9 on the Billboard Blues chart and was met with critical acclaim from writers across the country.
