Emilie Harwood

Emilie Harwood is a singer/songwriter living in Auckland, New Zealand. At age 16, Emilie made it to the top 18 on season 3 of TV's New Zealand Idol, making her the youngest contestant in the series. Other notable TV appearances include: A spot on the popular show Stars In Their Eyes, performing as her hero Celine Dion. ... A performance at Christmas in the Park 2007 filmed live in front of over 100,000 people. Emilie Harwood was asked to compose an original piece for the United Nations International Day of Peace in 2008 and has also performed at the 2009 Pacifika Festival in Auckland to an enthusiastic crowd which promptly demanded an encore. Recently Emilie traveled down to the South Island where she received a "Highly Comended" at the 2011 New Zealand Golden Guitar Awards in Gore. Shortly after returning to Auckland she partook in the 2011 Karaoke World Championships and was a New Zealand Semi Finalist. Currently Emilie Harwood is doing in house entertainment for several popular bars/clubs in Auckland as well as regularly gigging.
