Dylan Seal was born and raised in Long Beach, California. A film buff since childhood, he was very quickly attracted to acting and writing for the stage. Entering California State University Long Beach majoring in business, he still loved film and theater. In his first theater class he met Charlie Hickman and they soon became friends. After helping out behind the scenes and writing several sketches with Charlie for theater, Dylan wanted to try working with film. It was through this that Dylan and Charlie started AFS Productions and started producing films. Dylan practices several martial arts. He has choreographed many fight scenes for stage and film. He has trained for most of his life in Shotokan Karate, Lao Kune Do Kung Fu, Judo, Boxing, and is proficient in many weapons. He worked nonstop with the LBSC for three years on over ten classical productions. Also, he worked with Tony Plana, who is the director of the East LA Classic Theater Co., on Much Ado About Nothing. Dylan has very eclectic taste in film, ranging from Bruce Lee and Kurosawa movies to Christopher Nolan movies! An article about Clint Eastwood inspired Dylan to begin producing.
