Clair D. Roskam, born in Iowa Falls, Iowa, grew up in Portland, Oregon, graduated from Lewis and Clark College and received a master's degree from the University of Illinois. He was a television producer and writer for the audiovisual department of the Universal Education Corporation. Mr. Roskam became a free lance film and television writer and producer in New York in 1954. He was a writer and producer for CBS-TV's: "Camera 3", "Look Up and Live", and "Lamp Unto My Feet". He died of cancer Friday 25th of July 1971 at his summer home in Skowhegan, Maine. He was 44 years old and lived in New York City, NY.
