Mike Newcomer

Michael Elery Newcomer was a standup comedian, who also did work as an actor and taught clown school in Portland, Oregon. His work included touring around the country and in Canada as a comedian in the golden age of stand-up alongside his brother Ed Newcomer in the comedy duo, "The Newcomer Brothers." He played small parts in the movies, "The Last Innocent Man" and Wee Sing's "King Cole's Party." Michael had 5 children (2 sons and 3 daughters): Nova, Natalie, Johnathon, Taylor and Austin and spent the latter part of his life working in radiology in hospitals in the Pacific Northwest. He continued to write comedy and commentary on society throughout his life. He passed away in mid-September 2011.
