Marshall Jay Kaplan

Marshall Jay Kaplan is a multi-nominated television producer and director.....and a really nice guy. His notable projects include CNN's THE HISTORY OF SITCOM and the multi-nominated documentary film, VIEWER DIRECTION ADVISED (which played in New York, Los Angeles and Toronto film festivals). He was also the Creator, Executive Producer and Host of the celebrity-based show, Totally Tracked Down. His diverse producing credits have aired on top-tier channels including CNN, TLC, BRAVO, FOOD NETWORK, VICE & HGTV and run the gamut of every category in television from factual (docu-series, paranormal and sports series) to reality (home renovations, game shows, antique pickers and even a bridal dress series). In addition to his producing work, Marshall has years of experience as a director, getting the best out of actors, documentary interviewees, television hosts and stars such as Dan Levy, Zooey Deschanel, Larry David and Valerie Bertinelli. Prior to television, Marshall worked as a writer and cartoonist in the newspaper industry. His 'Where Are They Now?' column - was carried in 65 newspapers in the United States and Canada. Marshall is currently developing his next documentary series and film.
