Luke Benedetto

Since the age of 8 Luke loved movies, but it wasn't until his early 20s when he knew making movies was what he wanted to do for a living. Growing up, Luke was a 2 sport athlete, as well as a guitarist for a metal core band. After Luke got out of sports and his band broke up, he turned his attention towards the film world. Luke loved watching movies but as he described, "I hate watching movies that have an amazing idea but end up getting ruined by the people who make them." So Luke decided to write his own ideas down on paper. This led to Luke and his friends making a horror short, which Luke wrote, directed, produced, edited and even scored. The short was popular with all who saw it and it eventually helped Luke land his first position with a film company. Luke spent 2 plus years with this independent horror company, where he learned a great deal about the industry. After an unfortunate split, Luke started Quarantined Productions, where he immediately went into production on his first feature, The Evil Within (2007) Luke also wrote the short vampire horror film, "Kalia", as well as a feature length horror/suspense/thriller, "The Haunted", which as of now (October 25, 2007) is still waiting for financing. He also directs music videos.
