Danny was born in Fort Worth, Texas on April 9, 1989 as Daniel Barnes Bates. He attended the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts, was a cast member of Kids Who Care Theater Company. Danny was a member of the Grammy Winning Texas Boys Choir and toured with them for 5 years. Danny played football, was an All-District medalist in wrestling and was his high school's first gold medal winner in power-lifting. Danny was nominated for a Betty Buckley Award for his role as BJ Gibson in Paschal High School's production of 1940s Radio Hour. Danny writes screenplays as well as his own music which he performs on his guitar and vocalizes. Danny was asked to perform as a musical guest at the Texas State Republican Convention and the legendary Wylie Opry.
