Teri Elaine Begin was born on 26 August, in Orlando, Florida, and is the daughter of Elaine Hatcher and Wayne Falardeau. She started her career at the age of 5, doing commercials for a hospital. After performing with the Orlando Shakespeare Festival's Young Company and various local Improv Troupes and Theaters, Teri moved to L.A., where she studied Theater and Acting. She traveled with the Covenant Players, an international repertory theater company, acting and singing across the US and Mexico, for 2 1/2 years. Soon after completing her B.A. in Education and Theater, Teri performed live infomercials throughout the US and Toronto, and taught Acting in Beijing, China. In 2006, Teri transitioned from the Stage to the Screen, working on such projects as "Dasavatharam,", "Walk Through Fires," "June in Springdale," "Memphis Beat", "Project Z," and "Dr. G, Medical Examiner." Teri is currently (2011) working on several projects throughout Hollywood South, in both Performance and Production, and was recently named Casting Director for two feature films out of L.A. (2013) She is also an Acting Coach with Controlled Chaos Productions, and travels the country as a guest speaker and performer. Her first screenplay, "Jamila" is soon to be in pre-production (2013).
