Ian Strope

Ian studied Biology at U.C. Riverside, where he took the MCAT and scored in the high 90% on the writing section, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He studied film At Humboldt State University where he focused on cinematic storytelling. Taking graduate level courses in writing, film theory, cinema production, and worked in a variety of crew positions on student, and local films, and commercials. In that time he also wrote 3 short films, 2 of which he produced, directed, and edited himself. Ian also enjoys film critique and has produced and hosting his own movie review podcast, The Futile podcast since 2007.
