Her first experience in front of a camera came as background work on the set of 'Traffic Warden' a short film directed by Benjamin Johns in August 2006. She was sitting with the rest of the background artists when she was picked out of the crowd to play a police woman in the ending scene of the movie. Fishwick met with casting director Steve Daly after friends had sent her for an audition for a feature film and wowed the director and casting director with her acting skills. She was given her first role in Mark Jay's feature 'Octane' where she played a young glamour model wannabe pre-teen called Shelley. Her next role followed shortly after in the feature 'Rise of the Footsoldier' where she played a barmaid hungry for hero Carlton Leech. After more than 10 years away from the camera, Fishwick decided to return to the trade participating in a few supporting roles and short films. Now joining the case of the feature film False Front.
