Derek Eavins

Derek Eavins dropped his last name in early elementary school opting for a more phonetically pleasing and slightly less trailer-trashy stage name. As a toddler, his idea of "play" was rehearsing Corey Haim and Arnold Schwarzenegger films. Imitating doe-eyed, crooked grin persuasions of 80's child stars paused on his TV screen, Eavins befriended the owner of a local video store, and sifted through every film, regardless of genre or quality. With junior-high, came theater, and high school solidified his either natural or rehearsed charisma proving he was better suited as an entertainer rather than a farm hard. If Johnny Depp and George Clooney could defy the fate of small town Kentucky upbringings, then so could Eavins. Green, graduated, and 18, young Eavins moved to California, where he resides in Orange County studying the arts and maintaining a full schedule of short films, script-writing, and musical projects. He is sure to be the next from a line of corn-fed, squared-jaw, bright eyed stars. As he child hood mentor told him in 2010: "You got a good look". -- Corey Haim
