Sam Mak

Sam Mak was born in a Thai refugee camp during a time when his family was fleeing from the Cambodian Khmer Rouge. At six months old, Sam's family were sponsored and relocated by a Baptist Church to Houston, Texas. After graduating high school, Sam went on to earn a Bachelors of Finance from the University of Miami. While studying acting at Creative Workshops in Miami, he was encouraged by the head acting instructor to enlist in a full-time theatre conservatory. Upon graduating from UM, he immediately packed and was off to study at the Neighborhood Playhouse in NYC. This was where he refined his art, studying the Meisner technique, dance, movement, singing, and speech. He now resides in the incredible city of Austin, Texas.
