Known for her feature directorial debut Going Furthur, Lindsay Kent is a Los Angeles-based Producer, Director, and Editor with a passion for social impact-focused content. After graduating with a degree in Radio-TV-Film from the University of Texas, Lindsay spent several years traveling and working in television and digital media in Sydney, Honolulu, Bangkok, New York and Dallas before making Southern California home. In 2012 she was lead editor and post supervisor on the feature film Black Gold, which focused on the Niger Delta oil crisis. The film screened at the United Nations General Assembly in 2012, and has since increased awareness and action on oil spills in the Niger Delta. The following year, together with a team of activists and A-list celebrities, Lindsay summited Mt. Kilimanjaro for the clean water NGO campaign Summit on the Summit, producing, editing and dispatching the project's documentary series from the mountain. Lindsay joined filmmakers Colby Rex O'Neill and Matt Pidutti on the 50th Anniversary tour of the Furthur bus in 2014. The small crew shot over 400 hours of footage, digging deep into the roots of the counterculture movement and uncovering how the mission of those first few idealists influenced a new generation.
