Evan I. Schwartz

Evan I. Schwartz is an author who tells stories about history, innovation, tech, music, and media. His non-fiction books include The Last Lone Inventor: A Tale of Genius, Deceit, and the Birth of Television (HarperCollins) He is also the author of Finding Oz: How L. Frank Baum Discovered the Great American Story (Houghton Mifflin). His first novel, Revolver, is published in 2021 by the Concord Free Press. His feature in WIRED about orbital space debris was selected for the 2011 Best American Science & Nature Writing series. Schwartz produced and wrote the PBS/NOVA documentary Saved By the Sun, which gauges the future of solar power for the climate crisis.
