Denah Angel is a Los Angeles based actress, comedian, writer and producer whose work has been featured across film, television, digital and stage. Denah studies at LA's premiere improv and sketch writing comedy school, The Groundlings. Denah has performed alongside Academy Award winning actress Helen Hunt, Emmy award winning actor Jason Alexander, and Helen Slater (Super Girl) with the comedy troupe Turbine Arts Collective under the direction of esteemed improv coach Rob Watzke. Denah is the lead of the indy dramedy "Hello from Nowhere", due to hit festivals in 2021. Denah has frequently collaborated with Director Michelle Gritzer and together their projects have garnered multiple awards. Their most recent collaboration "Do you have a?..." won the 2020 audience award at Dances with Films Festival. Their web series "00:24" won Best Web Series at First Glance Film Festival Los Angeles and Best Web Series Award, ITV Fest 2012. In addition to comedy, Denah is a classically trained voice performer having sang the National Anthem at numerous high profile events including Seattle Mariners baseball games and The LA Sephardic Film Festival at Paramount Studios. She is also known for her voice-over work performing in the SAG-AFTRA Radio Play series held at the historic Autry Museum Theatre. Denah has been a proud member of SAG-AFTRA for over ten years. She is a member of Ensemble Studio Theatre, which is sponsored by the Hollywood Foreign Press, where she performs regularly. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Denah holds a degree in theater from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City.
