Nathan Pham was born in South Vietnam, the third and youngest son of a Vietnamese father and a Chinese-Vietnamese mother. The family immigrated to the United States when he was at a very young age. He grew up from a very humble beginning in the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His first stage experience was in a school musical in third grade as part of the choir, and then later was cast as the main lead in the following year school play without auditioning.
