Simon Clowes is a Director, creative director, and designer. Born and raised in London, England, his passion for storytelling through art and design has been his driving force from a young age. In 2005, Simon left his home city for Los Angeles after accepting an offer to join Prologue Films where he gained over a decade of experience collaborating with clients across a variety of platforms ranging from Television, Film, and Video Games. Over his career, Simon has collaborated with some of the world's top agencies, directing commercials for brands such as Jameson, Verizon and Ram Trucks, and has designed and creative directed title sequences for Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Aquaman, X-Men: First Class, Sherlock Holmes, and Elementary to name a few. His body of work also includes full CG cinematic sequences for Bungie's Destiny, serving as Director for the game's opening sequence, as well as the opening sequences for its DLC releases. Simon's creative vision and attention to detail have been recognized by some of the industry's most prestigious awards resulting in multiple accolades in the disciplines of design, live action, animation, and visual effects. Most notably, he earned an Emmy® Award Nomination for his Live Action opening sequence for CBS's Elementary, Special Jury Recognition and multiple Official Selections from the SXSW Film Festival, Cubes from the Art Directors Club, and awards from New York Festivals® and Promax / BDA.
