Amy Bandlien Storkel

Amy was born in Nittedal, Norway to parents Dr. Karl and Linda Bandlien. Her father is a surgeon and her mother a Montessori teacher. She grew up in the Detroit area of Michigan and after high school moved back to Norway for a year of drama and dance at Hedmarktoppen, an arts college in Hamar. After getting her BS degree in Multi-Media Productions, she worked as a producer of live events for two years before moving to Los Angeles. Since then she has worked on several documentary films that have won many awards. She recently started a production company with her husband Bryan Storkel, called SideStilt. Today, Amy continues to produce documentaries and is also moving into the world of narrative films.
