Tom Lund was born and raised in Valencia, California. He attended Saugus High School where he was involved in choir and drama. During his freshman year, Tom helped establish the Saugus News Network as well as the school's show choir. In his senior year, he was awarded the Bank of America Scholarship for Dramatic Arts and Outstanding Soloist at the Royal High School Jazz Festival. Tom then attended College of the Canyons where he studied vocal performance and choral music education under Lori Marie Rios. In 2008, Tom appeared as Lt. Cable in the College of the Canyons Theatre Department's production of "South Pacific," which earned him an Irene Ryan Scholarship nomination. Tom's primary acting experience is in theatre, with a focus on musical theatre. For the last 17 years, he has been an active member of the Canyon Theatre Guild located in Newhall, California. During his time there, he has appeared on stage in 40 productions, served as the vocal director for four productions (including "Rent" performed at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center), and worked on 20 different productions as a lighting designer/technician. Some of Tom's favorite stage roles include: Smudge in "Forever Plaid," Man #2 in "Edges," Jesus in "Godspell," a member of the Tribe in "Hair," Carmen Ghia in "The Producers," and Hero in "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum." Along with being a newly elected member to the Board of Directors for the Canyon Theatre Guild, Tom is also a member of the Tribe Productions performing in Hollywood, California.
