Anton Leo

Anton Leo is a partner, along with, Dan Bennett and Shane Corkery in the Toronto production company Counterfeit Pictures. The company's first production, the half-hour sketch comedy series Sunnyside debuted in Canada in January 2015. Huffington Post described the series as "Canada's latest sketch comedy gem". Counterfeit's next production was a series of original hour-long stand-up specials featuring performances by some of Canada's best comics, produced in association with Just for Laughs. Most recently, Counterfeit has just completed a new six-part mockumentary series entitled Decoys for CBC Gem. Anton is also a consultant and supervising producer for Just For Laughs Television. He has been at the creative helm of an array of JFL specials starring Trevor Noah, Tiffany Haddish, Seth Rogen, Sarah Silverman, and Jonathan Van Ness, among others. He also served as an Executive Producer on the Amazon documentary series "Inside Jokes" and the Netflix series "Comedians Of The World". On the broadcast side, Anton spent eight years at CBC Television as the Creative Head of Comedy, a Production Executive and an Executive Producer.
