A graduate from the University of New Mexico's Cinematic Arts department, he has taken many courses in film theory and production, including screenwriting classes taught by Matthew McDuffie. A video game enthusiast since he was old enough to walk, he has become interested in Japanese language and culture and made such topics the focal point of his work for the Cinematic Arts department. Even now after graduation, video games and Japanese culture continue to influence his works. He aspires to one day become like famed Hideo Kojima, believing the Japanese man has a complete understanding of both movies and video games (something which most video game-based movie directors do not possess). Currently, he lives in the countryside of upstate New York, where he continues to hone his skills by writing screenplays, making amateur videos for YouTube, and playing video games. He needs to brush up on his Japanese language skills, though.
