Margarethe Baillou is the founder of New York and London-based independent motion picture, television and audio production company, M.Y.R.A. Entertainment. The company produces global, nonviolent and inclusive content. Productions have included Drawing Home (2016), the Academy Award-winning Call Me by Your Name (2017), Change in the Air (2018), The World to Come (2020) and Benediction (2021). Margarethe founded the M.Y.R.A. Initiative in New York, the philanthropic arm of M.Y.R.A. Entertainment, supporting children in crisis and fostering nonviolent cinema. She is an alumna of the American University of Paris and Columbia University. Having lived in many different parts of the world, she resides primarily in London.
