Michael D. Gough is a film composer and director. He has been working in the film and television industry since 2001 when he was hired by Idaho Public Television fresh out of High School. In 2005, his student feature film "Autumn Angel" became the first independent film to sell out Idaho's historic Egyptian Theater in downtown Boise. Since then, he has earned several Telly Awards and a regional Emmy, and has become known for his documentary projects, including "Add the Words." His music background is tied to the work that he has done both as a performer and marketing director through the years with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps, a touring youth organization that competes throughout the United States. In 2019, Michael made a pivot in his career to focus on music scoring and a return to narrative film directing.
